New Release: The Pacific Regional Guidebook on Disability Statistics

Empowering Inclusion through Disability Statistics

The Pacific Community (SPC) has released the Pacific Regional Guidebook on Disability Statistics and corresponding statistical toolkit.

The guidebook, which may be accessed here, is the result of extensive collaboration between the Pacific Community, Pacific Island countries and territories (PICTs), the Pacific Group on Disability Statistics, and the Nossal Institute for Global Health (University of Melbourne), with support from the Government of Australia.

Its purpose is to build a shared understanding of disability measurement using internationally endorsed approaches, facilitate collaborations between NSOs, development partners and data users, and promote the production of consistent and comparable disability statistics across the Pacific region.
