Question Sets Currently Under Development

The Washington Group is current researching, developing and testing new tools to compliment the Short Set, Extended Set on Functioning and Child Functioning question sets. These question sets are in various stages of development and are led by a dedicated working group. Details of the working groups can be found below.

Working group information:

  • Workgroup on the Analysis of the Extended Set on Functioning
    Chair: Mitchell Loeb, USA
    This workgroup is charged with the finalizing the guidelines for analyzing data obtained from the WG Extended Set on Functioning.
  • Workgroup on Child Functioning
    Chair: Mitchell Loeb, USA
    This workgroup is charged with the development of specific question modules designed to measure functioning among children.
  • Workgroup on Environmental Factors and Participation
    Chair: Barbara Altman, USA
    This workgroup is charged with designing extended set questions for the measurement of environmental factors including both barriers and facilitators.
  • Workgroup on Mental Health
    Co-chairs: Marguerite Schneider, South Africa and Elena DePalma, Italy
    This workgroup is charged with the development of measures specific to mental health.
  • Workgroup on Disability Module for Labor Force Surveys
    Chair: Daniel Mont, Leonard Cheshire Disability and Inclusive Development Centre
    University College of London
    This workgroup is charged with the development of a disability module for use in labor force surveys.
